Synetics Potential for Education
During my career, I was offered the opportunity to be paid for the creative skills I had developed. A marketing agency tested my ability and asked me to join their firm as a, Creative Consumer. I was chosen, along with others with similar backgrounds, to gather in a room and apply the Synectics process to potential market worthy items. We were improving on the designs on current models of child strollers, potato chips, suntan lotion, etc. Invention, a creative process, is often improving a current idea. Synectics is a widely used practice. We were treated well and paid well. I often taught my own students this process and knew they were engaged in advanced thinking and they were engaged.
